Last month, we lost my grandfather, Mariano Marín. It was very emotional, but my grandmother lit up when we looked through their wedding album together. How beautiful is this luxury we have to be able to carry beautiful moments and history at the palm of our hands. They were married on May 23rd, 1954 in Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico 💕

I decided to take an unannounced break from social media last month and man, did it feel good. Not caring how many followers I have, whether or not a photo is performing well, if the photos I’m posting are color coordinated (does anyone even care about that?!), or hustling to post at the most “optimal” time for followers. What about the most optimal time for me? I am back, refreshed, and posting whatever inspires me, whenever I want, and that’s it✌🏼Speaking of inspiring, these welcome gifts for wedding guests also served as picnic baskets and I think they’re pretty cool 💕

As guests walked through the sailcloth reception tent and made their way from dinner to dancing, the velvet table linens grew darker with the night.
