Throughout history, celebrated wedding gowns have often reflected the times, from Jackie Kennedy’s ivory silk taffeta to Diana, Princess of Wales’s extravagant 1980s mille-feuille.

More recently, celebrity brides have subverted wedding dress traditions, from Olivia Palermo’s bridal sweater and tea skirt to Kiera Knightley’s reworn tulle ballet-pink Chanel dress.
